What's new to 2021

The latest model year of the Volvo S90 gets a host of smaller changes but remains mostly unchanged from the previous model year. The 2021 S90 gets a host of new standard features, gets slight exterior redesign, and revised some interior color schemes. Volvo also changed the name of its hybrid engine from T8 to Recharge.

Performance

Powering the 2021 Volvo S90 is one of two engines: a 2.0-liter turbocharged/supercharged inline-4 or a 2.0-liter turbocharged/supercharged inline-4 hybrid engine (Recharge). The base 2.0-liter turbocharged/supercharged inline-4 engine makes 316 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Manchester drivers looking for a bit more power can look to the hybrid engine, which offers up 400 horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque. Working with both engines is an 8-speed automatic transmission. All iterations come with all-wheel drive.

Interior

While the base trim comes with a seriously impressive set of interior features for Merrimack drivers to enjoy, the Volvo S90 offers up even more features for enjoyment with upper trims. The R-Design trim, for instance, comes outfitted with Nappa leather upholstery, power-extendable front seat cushions, and quad-zone automatic climate control. The R-Design also includes a sport steering wheel and a Harman/Kardon premium sound system. Stepping to the top-level Inscription trim provides Manchester drivers with the most luxury, offering up walnut inlays, heated/ventilated front seats, and Nappa leather upholstery.

Standard Features

The interior of the Volvo S90 is as sleek and elegant as its exterior. Bedford, NH drivers can look forward to ample comfort, with the base Momentum trim coming outfitted with leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a host of driver assistance features.
